Arab Social Creativity Award

IDRAAC received the Arab Social Creativity Award for its Elderly Empowerment Project, implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Byblos and funded by the European Union. The project, which provides employment, volunteer opportunities, and leisure activities for older adults, was selected from over 130 projects across the Arab world.
The award was presented by the Arab Thought Foundation (ATF) during the Fikr16 conference on April 11, 2018, in Dubai. The ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, and His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al Faisal, Chairman of the Arab Thought Foundation, who honored the winners of the 11th edition of the Arab Creativity Award 2017.
Also in attendance were His Royal Highness Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al Faisal, Chairman of the Board of the Foundation; His Royal Highness Turki Al Faisal, Chairman of the Board of King Faisal Center for Islamic Research and Studies; as well as former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora, Minister Jean Ogassapian, Minister Melhem Riachi, and other prominent Arab figures.
